Requirements for Joining Our Weekly Pack

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: Hounds must be up-to-date on Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPPC, Must be spayed/neutered. We also highly recommend a flea/tick treatment as we hike in high grasses and the ticks are getting more prevalent in the Northwest. Ask your vet for the best option for your hound.  

TEMPERAMENT AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: 

• Friendly around other dogs and good in a small pack 
• No aggressive history with dogs, humans (kids, too!) or bikers (does not chase)
• Good recall, sticks with the pack, previous trail hiking  
• Comfortable entering and exiting the truck
• Enjoys 2+ hours of freedom on the trails and can keep up with the hike pace

We know how much you love your dog and how important it is for them to get out and socialize in the elements on decompression walks. We will pick up and drop off your dog(s) on hike day. Our 2-4 hour weekly group hikes occur in any weather, rain or shine. Hikes will only occur in secluded SAFE areas away from roads, where dogs are ALLOWED off-leash freedom. We towel dry dogs before bringing them home “tongue out tired.” Big and small, old and young dogs welcome - as long as they keep up!

PRICING: 

1 DOG $50

2+ DOGS $40 EACH

Hikes will vary 3-4 hours.
